by The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) conducts the 2-week Course on Computer Concepts (CCC). The CCC program imparts learning on the basics of Computers. In turn, the course students become proficient in computers and searching the Internet. Consequently, they can use computers to maintain their personal or business accounts.
Every month, the NIELIT invites applications for the CCC entrance examination. The entrance exam is conducted for admitting pupils to the NIELIT CCC course.
The aspirants who are interested in pursuing the NIELIT CCC course have to clear the CCC entrance exam. The initial step to apply for the aforementioned exam is to visit the official website, http://student.nielit.gov.in
Prior to applying, the candidates should have a personal mobile number and email address. More so, their passport-sized photos are other requisites.
On the site, they should click on the ‘Apply Online’ option. Then, the system directs them to a page where they have to select the ‘Course on Computer Concepts’ option. Now, the ‘Declaration’ page comes up where they have to select the given CheckBox. Follow by clicking on the ‘I Agree & Proceed’ option.
Subsequently, they have to fill in the Online Examination Application Form’ (OEAF) that is displayed on the screen. Next, they have to furnish the mandatory details in the OEAF. Thereafter, they should preview their applications and continue by clicking on the ‘Submit’ option. Also, they have to pay the examination fee which is Rs. 500 + Service Tax (as applicable). There are no late fee provisions.
After submitting their applications, they will receive a notification on the given email IDs and mobile numbers.
Besides, to check the status of their application, they can browse the site, http://student.nielit.gov.in. Also, the authorities inform them of all the exam details – such as date, time, and examination centre.
Eligibility Criteria
To the eligible for admission to the CCC course, the candidates have to qualify for the NIELT CCC Entrance exam. They can apply for the entrance examination via any of the following modes:
- He/She can be sponsored by Institutes that have the approval of the NIELIT for conducting the CCC program. In such cases, there is no bar on the educational qualifications of the applicants.
- The applicant can be sponsored by Government-recognized educational institutions (such as Schools and Colleges) that have a Unique Identity Number from NIELIT to conduct the CCC course. Here again, there are no educational qualification criteria.
- Direct applicants can apply; notwithstanding, their educational qualifications.

Examination Pattern
The CCC exam comprises of 100 objective-type questions, carrying 1 mark each. The candidates get 90 minutes to answer the question paper. There is no negative marking system.
Other than that, the exam centers for the CCC exam are allotted on the basis of the candidate’s choice, as filled by them.
