  • Applicants with a BTech/BE degree from an AICTE-recognized college/university, or any other equivalent degree, with minimum 55% marks (for general category) and 45% to 50% (for reserved communities) are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates are required to specify their area of specialization when submitting their application for entrance exams for MTech admissions.
  • Students have to apply for the entrance tests by filling out the application form with all the required particulars and submitting the list of mandatory documents.
  • After the declaration of entrance exam results, the institutions will release the Merit List, which contains the rank and marks of the selected candidates.
  • The shortlisted candidates have to then attend the counseling rounds.
  • During the counseling sessions, the authorities review the candidates’ documents and allot seats in the listed colleges based on their overall performance.
  • Each engineering college releases the cut-off marks, based on which the candidates are selected for the course.
  • Subsequently, the candidates have to visit the college where they have been allotted a seat to complete the pending paperwork and tender the course fee.
  • After securing a seat, they will be handed over the course schedule. You must attend classes regularly to maintain a good attendance record.

  • Become familiar with the syllabus. Plus, you should learn about the number of questions, exam pattern, marking system, and duration for each question.
  • Draw an effective timetable that covers all subjects while allocating sufficient time for revision.
