CLAT Admission/ Admit Card and Exam Result 2024
Conducted at the pan-India level, the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is being administered by the Consortium of NLUs from the year 2019 onwards. Previously, the National Law Universities (NLUs) convened CLAT on a rotational basis. CLAT is an online exam that is held once a year in August, with the medium of instruction being English.
The CLAT is carried out to determine the eligibility of candidates who want to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate law courses that the 22 participating NLUs and law colleges and universities offer.
In addition to the prestigious NLUs, other renowned self-financed and private law colleges also consider CLAT scores to admit students into their law courses.
The performance of the candidates in the CLAT and the subsequent Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds are considered for admitting students into the law programs.
