The founder of the Agra College is the Late Pandit Gangadhar Shastriji; he was a Sanskrit scholar and astrologer serving Madhav Rao, who was the Peshwa of Gwalior. Bearing affiliation to the premier Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Agra, the Agra College has provisions for conducting a host of undergraduate-level, doctoral-level, and postgraduate-level courses in varied streams. These include Science, Law, Fine Arts, Biotechnology, Arts, Engineering & Technology, Commerce, Biotechnology, among others.
Admission Process
The admissions to the Agra College ensue on the basis of marks gained in the Entrance exam which the Institute convenes.

Courses
The Agra College offers the below-listed courses:
- Bachelor of Arts (BA)
For getting admission to the 3-year BA program, the candidate has to pass the Class 10+2 examination with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
The eligibility criteria for the 3-year BSc course require the candidate to pass the Class 10+2 exam with a minimum score of 50% aggregate marks.
- Bachelor of Technology (BTech)
For the full-time and 4-year BTech program, the College authorities admit aspirants who have cleared the Class 10+2 exam with PCM subjects, having minimum 60% marks in Maths. Also, they have to obtain a valid score in UPSEE or JEE Main to be eligible for admission for this course. More so, admissions via lateral entry are also given for this program.
