Gujarat ITI aspirants can start applying to the technical training courses that the Gujarat-based ITIs and ITCs offer from the 1st week of May 2021 onwards. The deadline for submitting their applications is the last week of June 2021.
The Directorate of General Training (DET) that works under the Government of Gujarat oversees the admission process of the Gujarat ITIs. The official website for applying to the Gujarat ITIs is https://itiadmission.gujarat.gov.in/.
The applicants have to pass their 10th or 12th class exams to be eligible for the ITI courses. Also, if they are appearing for the qualifying exams, they can apply.
This admission process ensues at the state level every year. Aspiring candidates can apply for engineering and non-engineering courses. The authorities conduct the admission process on merit basis, with no separate exam to be held.
After the merit list is released, several public and private ITI colleges grant admission to the eligible candidates.
The Gujarat ITIs convene courses for a list of trades. These include Fitter, Surveyor, Plumber, Steel Fabricator, Welder, Machinist, Turner, Electrician, among others.
Admission Process
Candidates can submit their online applications for admission into the Gujarat ITIs via the official website.
They have to register first on the official website. Then, after the application forms are available, they must download the application forms. Next, they have to fill in the required details and follow by submitting their applications online.
As part of the application process, they have to also submit the mandatory documents and pay the application fee.
Subsequently, the examiners will release the Merit List and the selected candidates have to then attend the different selection rounds.
Eligibility Norms
He / she has to be minimum 14 years of age.
They must pass their Class 10 or 12 exams, owing to the course they are applying to.
Only Indian citizens who hold a domicile certificate of Gujarat from a certified authority can apply.
