The Central Institute of Plastics Engineering plus Technology bears the responsibility of conducting the pan-India level Central Institute of Plastic Engineering plus Technology Joint Entrance Exam (CIPET JEE). The CIPET JEE is held for admitting pupils into the different campuses of this premier institute.
As part of the CIPET JEE, aspirants have to choose between two diploma courses including the Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT) and Diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT).

Age limit
No lower age limit is prescribed to appear for the exam.
Educational background
The applicant is required to clear the Class X exam, with a minimum score of 35% aggregate marks. Moreover, if the candidate is appearing for the qualifying exam during the year of application, then also he/she is eligible to apply.
CIPET JEE: Application Process
To apply for the CIPET JEE, the candidates must submit online applications. Beforehand, they must study all the given guidelines.
The first step in the application process is to register by providing the mandatory details.
Then, to download the application form, they have to log in to their respective accounts after they receive their login credentials via mobile or email ID.
As part of the application process, they have to specify the program that they are applying to, among the given options.
Besides, they have to fill in other compulsory details in the application form
Uploading the requisite documents is also necessary – including a latest photograph and specimen signature.
They have to also pay the application fee via online or offline payment modes.
After submitting their applications, they should also take a print copy of the Confirmation Page which the system generates thereafter.
CIPET JEE: Exam Pattern
The duration of the CIPET JEE is 2 hours where the exam is carried out in computer-based mode. The questions are objective-type, with each question having four options. The candidates have to mark the correct responses to earn marks. Four slots are reserved for the exam.
CIPET JEE: Admit Card
The examiners release the admit cards of the CIPET JEE applicants in online mode. Admit Card is an important document, containing the exam details and candidate information.
The candidates have to download their respective Admit Cards after they sign in to their accounts. Here, they have to input the required details, following which the system displays their Admit Cards. Proceed by taking a printout of the Admit Card. Make sure to check if all details in the Admit Card are correct.
CIPET JEE: Result
The CIPET JEE applicants can check their results online. They have to sign in to the portal to view their result. Subsequently, they must maintain a copy of their results for future reference.
The concerned authorities will also draw a Merit List on the basis of candidates’ scores in the exam. The selected candidates are screened further in the counseling rounds.
CIPET JEE: Counselling
Depending on the marks scored by the candidates in the CIPET JEE, the applicants are short-listed for the following offline counseling sessions.
During the counseling rounds, the candidates are allotted seats on the basis of their merit rank in the entrance exam and their given preferences.
