by The Motilal Nehru College (Evening) started functioning as one of the constituent colleges of the University of Delhi (DU) from the year 1965 onwards. In addition to offering education under different streams to the students, the College focuses on instilling socio-cultural values in them. In turn, they develop into responsible citizens of the country while making a handsome contribution to society progression.

Courses
At undergraduate levels, the College conducts courses and in a host of disciplines. Aspirants can apply for an array of Bachelors and Bachelors (Hons.) courses – including the full-time, 3-year BCom and BA ones. They can pursue programs in fields like Political Science, History, Hindi, English, Commerce, among others.
For admissions in the BA (Hons.) and BCom (Hons.) courses, the applicants have to score at least 45% marks in the Higher Secondary Exams (HSC).
Though, the eligibility criteria for the BA and BCom programmes require the candidates to secure minimum 40% marks in the HSC examinations.
However, to qualify, the College has a list of mandatory subjects that the candidate is required to study in 10+2 as academic/elective ones.

Amenities
Various facilities are availed by the College students at the College. The College library contains a rich collection of books on different topics. Also, students avail the E-Resource center, having computers with internet connectivity.
Apart from that, the College campus has provisions for sports arenas, laboratories, medical care, cafeteria, among others.
