Government College Ater

In the year 1990, the Government College Ater, traceable to the Bhind district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, was set up. The Higher Education Department of Madhya Pradesh started the college to cater to the higher education needs of residents hailing from the adjoining districts.

The Ater Government College has affiliation to Jiwaji University which is located in Gwalior city of Madhya Pradesh.

The college was started with the aim of offering quality education to improve individual performance while conforming to professional standards. The college offers a range of innovative training programs in a wide variety of disciplines and focuses on research activities, to attain its objectives.

The Ater Government College conducts the 3-year, undergraduate-level Bachelor of Arts (BA) course in 6 disciplines. These include Sociology, English, Hindi, History, Economics, and Political Science.
