- For Army Wing of NDA: He/she is required to pass the Class XII examinations (or equivalent ones) from accredited boards or universities.
- For Naval and Air Force Wings of the NDA: The applicant has to pass Class 12th exams (or secure equivalent qualification), having studied subjects such as Mathematics and Physics.
UPSC NDA (I) Recruitment 2020: Online Registrations have started
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued an official notification to invite online applications for Naval Academy and National Defence Academy Examination (I) 2020. Online registrations started from January 8, 2020, onwards. And the candidates can submit their applications until January 28, 2020, 1800 hours.
Also, the candidates will be able to withdraw their applications between February 4 and February 11, 2020, 1800 hours.
Through the exam, the UPSC is seeking to fill 418 positions. Under NDA, 370 positions have to be filled. These include 42 for Indian Navy, 208 for the Indian Army, and 120 for the Air Force (and are inclusive of 28 Ground Duty posts). Under the Indian Naval Academy, vacancies for 48 posts have to be filled.
To screen candidates, a written is to be held. Tentatively, the exam date is scheduled to be April 19, 2020. The selected candidates will be inducted into the 145the Course of the Air Force, Navy, and Army and the 107th course of the Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC).
