by The School of Management Sciences Varanasi (SMS) was founded in the year 2005 and it is traced to Varanasi, which is the holy city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Also, this premier college has been awarded the ‘A’ grade by the NAAC.
The UG programs that the college hosts have affiliation to the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, based in Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. In addition, its PG courses enjoy affiliation to the APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
The college strives for excellence and this has led to the establishment of many Centers of Excellence for nurturing both academics and research.
More so, the SMS faculty members focus on the moral, physical and spiritual development of the pupils.
Courses
The SMS has provisions for a host of undergraduate-level courses. These include Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
Among postgraduate courses, the college provides the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.
In accordance with the eligibility rules of the college MBA course, applicants have to secure at least 50% marks in the graduation exams. Moreover, the MBA course offers a host of specializations: Human Resources, Marketing, and Finance.
Amenities
The SMS campus has been developed with modern infrastructural resources to aid the students’ physical, social, mental, and spiritual development. The college campus boasts of having separate hostels for males and females. Besides that, the college campus houses an auditorium, a cafeteria, and a gymnasium. Apart from that, there is a library, a seminar hall, digital classrooms, among other facilities.
