The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is the managing body of the Kendriya Vidyalaya schools, which is the largest chain of schools in India. And the Central Government of India runs the Kendriya Vidyalaya schools. The KVS will soon announce the schedule for admissions to the Kendriya Vidyalaya schools for the academic year 2024-25. The registrations will start in February 2024.

The KVS admits students in the Kendriya Vidyalaya schools from classes 1 to 12. As far as Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1 admission are concerned, online registration will continue from February 2024 to April 2024. Admissions to Kendriya Vidyalaya schools for classes 2-12 (with the exception of Class 11) ensues in offline mode only.

Admissions to Class 1 in KV schools are conducted as per the priority category system and online lottery system. On the other hand, admissions to Classes 2-8 in the KV schools are based on an offline lottery system and priority category system. No exams or tests are conducted for admissions in KV schools.

He/she should have passed the previous class from a government-recognized Board.

The student should submit original copies of Migration certificate, Transfer certificate, Passing certificate, and Birth certificate.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2024-25: Application Process

As part of the registration process of the Kendriya Vidyalaya schools, applicants are required to first register on the official website, and then, sign in to their accounts with their login credentials. Next, you have to fill in the application form and upload your documents.

The detailed application process for KV schools is given below:

• The first step is to visit the official web link of the KVS, https://kvsangathan.nic.in/
• On the portal, the guidelines on how to fill out the application form are exhibited.
• Make sure to read all the given instructions carefully and follow by clicking the “Proceed” tab
• The system is then directed to the Sign-Up / Sign-In page
• Continue by submitting the requisite details for the registration process
• After successful registration, you will receive your “Login Code” on your email address and mobile number
• Proceed by logging in to your account with your login details, including Login Code, Date of Birth, and Mobile Number; thereafter, tap the “Login” tab for the online admission form to appear on the screen
• Enter all the mandatory details in the application form and upload the scanned copies of the stipulated documents.
• The subsequent step is to read the declaration and accept the declaration by ticking the given checkbox.
• Ensure you check all details in your application form via the “Preview” option and make any required changes
• Click on the “Submit” tab if all the information is correct
• Thereafter, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number, which you have to enter on the portal.
• The system will then generate an “Application Submission Code”, which you will receive via SMS or email.
• After the “Application Submission Code” is generated, the KVS gains access to your online application
