by The Acharya Narendra Dev College started operations during the year 1991 and is recognized as a constituent college of the University of Delhi. Also, the Government of NCT of Delhi funds the college.
The college has been named after the renowned reformist and educationist of modern India Acharya Narendra Deva.
Through the years, the College has garnered repute for imparting quality education. Also, the institution works towards developing a sense of social responsibility in the pupils. In turn, they can make a meaningful contribution to the country.
Besides, in addition to studies, the College students are encouraged to take part in a range of extracurricular activities for their overall development. They have opportunities to participate in music, debates, sports, NSS, theatre, among others.

Courses
At the College, the students can pursue BSc courses in streams that match their interests. They can choose among subjects such as Maths, Botany, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Electronics, Computer Science, Zoology, and Physics – to name a few. Further, the College was the first one to introduce BSc (Honours) in Biomedical Sciences.
More so, the College offers Postgraduate degree programs in Mathematics and Chemistry of the University of Delhi.
Moreover, the College students can enrol in part-time diploma and certificate courses in several foreign languages. These include Russian, Spanish, German, and French.
Additionally, the College has Add-on courses (like ECPDT and ELPC) that students can enrol in for enhancing their personality.
