by The Daulat Ram College (DRC) started operations during the year 1960 with the name Pramila College. The College was renamed in the year 1964. DRC is a women’s college that is traceable to Delhi in India. And the institution is a large constituent college of the University of Delhi. The founder of the College is the eminent educationist Late Shri Daulat Ram Gupta; he believed in women empowerment through education. The official website of DRC is www.dr.du.ac.in.
Going by the contribution of the College to the field of education, the College has been bestowed with the Star College position by the Government of India.
At DRC, with academics, the students have opportunities to partake in extracurricular and co-curricular activities at the College too. They can take part in debates, dramatics, sports, and debates. Also, they can join NSS and volunteer in community service drives.
Further, the College enjoys the support of experienced faculty members. They, also, help the students in securing research projects from prestigious institutions like DRDO.
To enrich the learning experience for the pupils, the College has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) with other leading institutions as well.

At DRC, aspiring candidates can submit their applications for undergraduate level programs in Arts, Commerce and Science streams. Also, the College offers postgraduate-level courses in diverse fields.
