Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Delhi

The Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DIPSAR) started operations in the year 1994 and, previously, was operating as the Department of Pharmacy at Kashmiri Gate Polytechnic. DIPSAR has affiliation with the University of Delhi and is a constituent college of the Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research University. The official website of DIPSAR is www.dipsar.ac.in.

Also, DIPSAR has the accreditation of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

DIPSAR offers a range of pharmacy courses at different levels. The applicants have to meet the eligibility norms of the programs they are applying to.

Also, through the years, DIPSAR has an enviable record of developing a significant number of Pharmacists, who are employed in varied fields of pharmacy.

Courses
Dedicated to pharmaceutical studies, the DPRSRU conducts a range of pharmacy courses. These include the Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharm), Bachelor in Pharmacy (BPharm), Masters in Pharmacy (MPharm), and Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD).

For the undergraduate-level programs, the College inducts students on the basis of their scores in the qualifying exams. Applicants who have cleared the 10+2 exams with PCM or PCMH and having scored a minimum of 55% aggregate marks are eligible for gaining admissions in the DPharm and BPharm programs of DIPSAR.

For MPharm admissions, the aspirant is required to secure the BPharm degree and qualifying Graduate Pharmacy Admission Test (GPAT) score.
The College conducts an entrance exam for PhD admissions. However, fellowship students do not have to appear for the entrance test.

Amenities
DIPSAR boasts of modern infrastructural facilities and a campus spanning more than 10 acres of land. The institution has, also, set up a Center of Excellence to encourage research in pharmaceutical sciences. The endeavour is to produce globally-competitive pharmaceutical scientists and pharmacists.

Among the various facilities that DIPSAR offers the pupils are a well-stocked library, with an extensive collection of books, magazines, and journals. Other than that, sports arenas, recreation blocks, common rooms, and information technology centers are available on campus.
Also, boys and girls hostel facilities can be availed.
