by The Dr Chandrama Singh Mahila Mahavidyalaya (DCSMMV) was set up in the year 2013 and is situated in Varanasi city in India’s Uttar Pradesh state. Also, the DCSMMV, an all-girls college, has affiliation to the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
The DCSMMV offers courses in the streams of Arts and Education.
The objective behind establishing the DCSMMV was to empower females who hail from the backward classes of society by providing quality education. Further, the college stresses on the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between academics and activities for the students’ physical, social, and intellectual development.
Courses
At the DCSMMV, aspirants can submit their applications for a range of courses. These include Bachelor of Arts (BA), Master of Arts (MA), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
As per the eligibility criteria of the DCSMMV, candidates have to secure the 3-year Bachelor of Arts degree under the 10+2+3 pattern from a recognized educational board to apply. In addition, as part of the MA program, college students can specialize in Home Science, Hindi, and Sociology.

The DCSMMV campus extends over 2 acres of land and has been developed with a range of infrastructural resources to aid the overall development of the pupils. The college campus houses departmental-based laboratories and an auditorium for conducting events and seminars. Sports grounds, a cafeteria, and a gym are among other facilities that are available on campus. Moreover, the college library has been equipped with books, dictionaries, and magazines for reference purposes.
