by The Government College Anjad, traced to the Barwani district of India’s Madhya Pradesh, was established in the year 1984. This state government college is affiliated to the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, which is based in the Indore city of the Madhya Pradesh state. Also, the NAAC has accredited the Anjad Government college with the “B” grade.
Initially, the Government College in Anjad housed only the Arts and Commerce faculties. However, since the year 2014, the college has a Science faculty.
This college was started to cater to the higher education needs of the tribal population, residing in the backward regions. Also, the college makes all efforts to create a healthy academic environment for the pupils. More so, the college organizes several community service projects and seeks the active participation of the students for driving their all-round development.
Courses
The Anjad Government College offers undergraduate-level degree courses. These include the Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), and Bachelor of Arts (BA). Under postgraduate-level programs, the college conducts the Master of Arts in Sociology and Master of Social Work programs.
As part of the BCom courses, aspirants can specialize in two streams: Commerce and Commerce with Computer Applications.
The different specializations under the BSc course are Physics, Maths, Chemistry / Zoology, Botany, Chemistry.

The campus size of the Anjad Government college is 8 acres. The college students can avail computer centers and internet connectivity on campus. Moreover, the college campus has sports complexes where pupils can indulge in a variety of games in-between academic work.
