Hansraj College, Delhi

The DAV College Managing Committee is the founder of the Hans Raj College that is located in Delhi in India. During the year 1948, the Committee set up the College to honor the memory of Mahatma Hansraj; he was a renowned educationist. Until the year 1978, the College only admitted male students. HRS bears affiliation to the University of Delhi Also, this premier higher educational institution is ranked among the top 10 Colleges in India for Commerce, Arts and Science streams.

Courses
HRS conducts courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and in a variety of disciplines. These include Business & Management Studies, Mass Communication & Media, Accounting & Commerce, Humanities & Social Sciences, and major Science branches.

For gaining admission in the undergraduate-level programs of the College, the applicant has to pass the 10+2 exams. Also, they have to score the qualifying cut-off marks as released by the authorities for the different courses.

For postgraduate courses, students are granted admission on the basis of their marks in the Bachelor’s degree courses.

At HRS, a host of amenities for promoting the overall development of the students is available. The College has a well-equipped Central library that contains books, journals, and magazines for reference purposes.
