by The Holy Family College of Nursing (HFCN) started conducting academic sessions from the year 1956 onwards. Presently, the institution is recognized as one of the best paramedical colleges in the country, offering courses in Nursing. The HFCN has been accredited by the Indian Nursing Council and bears affiliation with the reputed University of Delhi. Also, the College is a coeducational higher educational institution.
HFCN provides a host of Nursing programs at different levels.
Courses
At HFCN, the candidates can enrol for a range of programs in Nursing – including the diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate ones.
The College offers several full-time 2-year diploma courses. These include the General Nursing and Midwifery, X-Ray Technology, Certified Radiology Assistance, and Medical Lab Technology ones.
In undergraduate-level courses, the College has the 4-year Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Nursing and the 2-year Post Basic Bachelor of Nursing.
Under postgraduate courses, the College invites applications for the 2-year Master of Science in Nursing program.
For admissions in the undergraduate nursing programs, the candidate is required to secure 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 Science exams with PCBE. And for gaining admission in the postgraduate Nursing courses, the aspirants must possess a Bachelors’ degree in Nursing.
The intake of students is on merit basis.

The HFCN campus spans 23 acres of land. And to promote the overall development of the pupils, the College has been developed with a host of modern amenities. Indeed, the College campus contains hostels, laboratories, medical care, and security systems. More so, the classrooms are fully equipped with advanced educational resources.
The College awards scholarships to the meritorious students too. Moreover, students from economically-weaker sections can avail fee concessions.
Further, the College is committed to providing placement opportunities to the pupils. Hence, a Placement Cell has been set up on the College campus. The Cell members offer career guidance and counseling to improve the students’ career-linked prospects.
