by The Lakshmibai College (LBC) was set up during the year 1965 and is a constituent college of the premier University of Delhi. Traceable to Ashok Vihar in Delhi, LBC serves the higher education needs of women. The LBC was started in the honour of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, who was a courageous warrior and patriot. Courses

In postgraduate courses, the College conducts Masters in Arts (MA) programs. The aspirants have the choice of specializing in Sanskrit, Political Science, and Philosophy under MA courses.
