by Mahamati Prannath Mahavidyalaya was set up in the year 1982. The MPC is traced to Mau within the Chitrakoot district that comes under the jurisdiction of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The MPC has affiliation to the Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, UP. Further, the MPC courses have been accredited by the NAAC. Plus, the MPC has the approval of the University Grants Commission.
The MPC offers undergraduate courses in the field of Arts. Apart from that, the College conducts the Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Applications course.
Plus, at the MPC, an eminent team of faculty members guides the students to strike a healthy balance between coursework and co-curricular activities.
Courses
The MPC accepts applications for the Bachelor of Arts (BA) program. To be eligible for the BA program, the applicant must clear the Class 12 exam from a recognized university or educational board. Moreover, only those candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks as declared by the College receive admission.
Amenities
Spanning about 49 acres of land, the MPC campus is developed with a range of infrastructural facilities. The various amenities on the College campus include playgrounds and computer centers. Additionally, the College library contains a large number of books for the pupils’ reference.
Internet connectivity and healthcare aid are among other facilities that the College provides. Along with that, the College campus houses hostels and canteens.
To encourage the students to actively participate in extracurricular activities, the College campus organizes several events too. The pupils can engage in sports or partake in various socio-economic drives – all of which helps in their overall personality development.
