Nestled in the Ambedkar Nagar district that falls within the Faizabad division, the MRAMC has the approval of the Medical Council of India. Plus, this renowned medical institution enjoys affiliation with the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University.
This state-run medical college, also, has partnerships with multispeciality hospitals. Besides, the College reserves 85% of the seats for students of backward communities.
Courses
The MRAMC offers the undergraduate-level MBBS course, which has a duration of 5.5 years. This course includes a mandatory 1.5-year internship program as well.
Eligibility Criteria
Any candidate who is seeking admission in the MBBS course that the MRAMC offers is required to first pass the Class 10+2 examination in the Science stream or any equivalent exam. Also, the qualifying marks in the qualifying exam are minimum 50% aggregate scores. Furthermore, the main subjects must include English, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and Physics.
Plus, the applicants have to score the qualifying marks in the NEET-UG exam to be selected.
Admissions
As part of the selection of candidates for the full-time MBBS course, the college authorities consider the candidate’s marks in the NEET-UG exam.
Application Process
For admissions in the MBBS program, the applicants have to register for the UP NEET-UG Counseling sessions online. After securing a seat, they must visit the stipulated college to tender the application fees and complete any pending admission formalities.
