Additionally, the College has the approval of the Medical Council of India and affiliation with the King George’s Medical University in Lucknow. The aim of setting up a government medical college in Basti is to provide affordable healthcare facilities to the people residing in Basti and adjoining districts.
The College offers undergraduate medical courses, with the support of qualified faculty members and modern infrastructure.
At the MVASMC, aspiring candidates can pursue the undergraduate-level Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) program. More so, the College offers a range of Nursing and Paramedical courses.
Also, this College has partnered with the OPEC Hospital in Kailly. This hospital provides training to the students studying medicine at the MVASMC.
Eligibility Criteria
The 5.5-year MBBS course includes a 1-year internship.
For admission in the MBBS course that the MVASMC offers, the applicant is required to clear the 10+2 exam, where the qualifying subjects should include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
