by The year 1973 marks the establishment of the Mahila Post Graduate College (MPGC). The MPGC is traced to Bahraich in the Uttar Pradesh state of India. The MPGC has an affiliation with the Ram ManoharLohiaAwadh University that is located in Ayodhya in UP. The MPGC has been bestowed with the ‘D’ grade by the NAAC. An all-girls college MPGC has provisions for undergraduate and postgraduate in the Arts and Science disciplines.
The College has earned a name in the field of higher education through excellent academic facilities and quality teaching. In addition to being an academic leader, the MPGC has a commendable track record in placing female students in reputed organizations too.
Beyond classroom teaching, the College focuses on developing the personality and character of the pupils. In all, the College, with its holistic approach, believes in not only educating the pupils but also grooming them into industry professionals.
The MPGC comprises of two faculties: the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Science.
Courses
The Faculty of Arts at the MPGC imparts instruction in the field of Arts for UG and PG programs. The College offers the Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts programs. Here, the students can choose among various Arts specializations. These include Education, Sociology, English, Medieval History, among others.
The Faculty of Science at the MPGC conducts the Bachelor of Science course. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany – all are among the different specializations in Science that the College provides.

Spanning over 2 hectares of land, the MPGC campus offers a host of amenities for enriching the learning experience. The College campus has sports centres, where the pupils can unwind after completing their coursework for the day.
