The College conducts courses at different levels in the fields of Arts, Commerce, Science, and Education.
Courses
Under the Arts discipline, the College accepts applications for UG and PG courses in various subjects. These include Political Science, History, Hindi, Sociology, History, Economics, Geography, and Defence& Strategic Studies.
In the Science field, for the UG and PG programs at the postgraduate level, the College has courses in varied fields. Among this list is Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Defence Studies, among others.
In the listing of doctorate courses, the College conducts courses in the Arts and Science field in different subjects. These include Sociology, Economics, English, Political Science, Zoology, and Mathematics – to list a few.
In the field of education, the PJNPGC conducts the 2-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) at the undergraduate level and the 2-year Master of Education (MEd) at the postgraduate level.
Admission Process
The eligible candidates are selected on the basis of their marks in the qualifying exam. Or, The College conducts an entrance examination to shortlist candidates. The State Government and the University frame the guidelines for admitting pupils.
Campus
Spreading over 22 acres of land, the PJNPGC campus has modern academic infrastructure. Some of the amenities that the College campus provides include hostels, laboratories, auditoriums, sports centers, and medical aid. Further, the College library has several books and journals for reference uses.
The PJNPGC, also, organizes lectures regularly on campus to make the students aware of their social and national responsibilities. In addition, the College invites eminent academicians for guest lectures on a variety of topics. These include personality development, psychology, environmental issues, yoga, philosophy, career-linked topics, and yoga.
