by The year 1973 marks the establishment of the Pt Kamalapati Tripathi Government PG College (PKTGPGC). Traceable to Chandauli in Varanasi in the Uttar Pradesh state of India, the PKTGPGC has an affiliation with the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth University in Varanasi. With the support of an eminent faculty team, the PKTGPGC offers courses in the field of Arts at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Additionally, because academics and activities are important in the life of a student, the faculty members work to bring about a balance between both for the student’s development.
Courses
- UG Courses
The PKTGPGC conducts the Bachelor in Arts (BA) course at the undergraduate level. To be eligible for this program, the aspirant has to clear the 10+2 exam from a recognized educational board. Also, they should secure the minimum qualifying marks as decided by the College.
The BA course offers specializations in subjects such as History, Sanskrit, Social Service, Hindi, English, among others.
- PG Courses
Among PG courses, the PKTGPGC has provisions for the Master of Arts (MA) course. Aspiring candidates are required to have a Graduate degree from a recognized university to be eligible to apply for the MA program. English and Economics are the two specializations that students can pursue under the MA course.
Campus
The PKTGPGC campus is spread over 10 acres of land. The students have access to a range of facilities on campus. These include a computer center and a conference hall. Other than that, the College library has a wide collection of books for the students’ reference purposes.
Playgrounds are among other amenities for students to avail on the PKTGPGC campus.
Also, the College contains an NSS unit that organizes a host of socio-economic drives. By participating in these initiatives, the students become responsible citizens. More so, they get an opportunity to groom their overall personality by partaking in the various extracurricular and co-curricular activities that the College organizes.
