R.S. Banaras Law College Varanasi

The R.S. Banaras Law College Varanasi (RSBLC) which is based in the Varanasi city of India’s Uttar Pradesh state was set up in the year 2005. The RSBLC was built to honor the memory of the Late Shri Ram Shankar Jaiswal; he was a renowned social worker and industrialist.

The RSBLC has provisions for the Bachelor of Law (LLB) program. The law courses of the RSBLC have the recognition of the Bar Council of India. More so, the RSBLC enjoys affiliation with the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh state.

The RSBLC aims to bridge the gap between the demand and supply of law graduates in the country.

Courses
The RSBLC conducts the 3-year, undergraduate-level Bachelor of Law (LLB) course. The LLB program has 6 semesters.

To get admission in the LLB program, aspirants have to first clear the Class 12th examination from a recognized board. Also, the college accepts applications of only applicants that have secured minimum of 45% marks if applying via the general category.

Amenities
The RSBLC has been equipped with several infrastructural resources to fuel the students’ overall development. Even the college campus has green lawns to make the atmosphere congenial for learning. Apart from that, the College library is stocked with many text and reference books. The RSBLC campus also has a moot court to provide practical education to the budding law graduates.

Moreover, the college offers smart classrooms to enrich the learning experience for the college students. Among other facilities that the college offers are a common hall and a cafeteria.
