Veerangana Rani Avantibai Government College, Khairlanji

The Veerangana Rani Awantibai Shasakiya Mahavidyalaya (VRASM) is traced to Khairlanji city of the Balaghat district of India’s Madhya Pradesh state. Set up in the year 2013, the VRASM has affiliation with the Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya in Jabalpur. The University Grants Commission has approved the degree courses of the VRASM.

The VRASM has 2 faculties: the Arts faculty and the Science faculty. The faculty of Arts started conducting courses from the 2013-14 session onwards. The faculty of Science has been operating since the 2018-19 session.
At the VRASM, candidates can apply for undergraduate-level programs in the field of Arts and Science.
The college staff members aim to develop students into responsible citizens to help them contribute to the upliftment of society as a whole. Also, the pupils are taught to strike a healthy balance between academics and activities for their holistic development.

Courses
The VRASM conducts 2 courses at the undergraduate level: Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BSc).
In the Arts stream, the VRASM holds the Bachelor of Arts (BA) course.

Under the Science field, the VRASM has the Bachelor of Science (BSc) program. The full-time, 3-year BSc course offers specializations in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry / Maths, Physics, Chemistry.

To get admission in the 3-year, full-time BA and BSc courses, the aspirants have to pass the Class 10+2 examination from a UGC-recognized board.

Amenities
The VRASM campus extends to 12 acres of land. Some facilities that the college provides to students on campus are internet connectivity and a playground. Also, the college library contains a collection of books and other reference material.
