The All India Management Association Management Aptitude Test (AIMA MAT) is conducted at the national level in India and four times per year (during the months Feb, May, Sept, and Dec). Since the year 1988, the AIMA MAT is being administered, qualifying candidates for the MBA and other allied courses to the best business schools in both India and abroad.
The Government of India approved the AIMA MAT as a national-level exam during the year 2013, following which MAT scores were considered as an eligibility criterion for admission in the management courses of the prestigious national and international business schools.

AIMA MAT: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Any candidate who has a graduate degree from any recognized educational board is invited to apply for AIMA MAT if they want to pursue management programs in any of the participating business schools.
Also, any student in the final graduation year is eligible to apply to AIMA MAT, albeit on a provisional basis.

The syllabus of the AIMA MAT has sections on Indian & Global Environment, Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis & Sufficiency.
AIMA MAT: Exam Pattern
As part of the AIMA MAT, the aspirants have to answer objective-type questions on the below-listed subjects. Plus, the AIMA MAT is carried out in paper and computer mode; the candidate has to choose his/her preference and apply accordingly.

AIMA MAT: How to apply?
For applying to the AIMA MAT, the candidate has to visit the official website, http://mat.aima.in. On the website, the AIMA MAT application form is downloadable. After downloading the application form, they have to furnish the mandatory details. Moreover, they have to pay the exam fee and complete the rest of the registration formalities – all before the stipulated last date for their applications to be processed.
