by The Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology, Panipat, convenes the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology National Aptitude Test (APIIT NAT). This entrance exam is held for admitting students into the various management and engineering programs that the APIIT offers. Conducted in the month of June every year, the APIIT NAT admits students into both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
APIIT NAT: Eligibility Criteria
For UG Courses
The applicant should pass the Class XII exam, with a minimum score of 45% aggregate marks
They are required to study Physics and Maths subjects as compulsory ones and Chemistry / Computer Science as optional ones
If applying for the BBA program, they should have studied English as one of the mandatory subjects
For PG Courses
The aspirant must complete graduation from any recognized college
They should score at least 50% aggregate marks in the Bachelor’s courses
Note:
If the candidate is appearing for the qualifying exam in the year of application, they are also eligible to apply for both the UG and PG courses.
APIIT NAT: Exam Syllabus
The exam pattern for both the UG and PG courses is similar. Only the syllabus for both exams varies.
Some common aspects of both the UG and PG exams are as follows:
The exam totals 300 marks
The question paper contains 100 questions
The candidate scores 3 marks for correct answers
In the case of incorrect responses, 1 mark is deducted from their overall marks tally
The questions will be both general and technical types
For admission into the BTech courses, the question paper will cover subjects of Class 12
Also, if applying for the BTech courses, the applicants should study the basics of Maths, Chemistry, and Physics to prepare for the exam
For admissions into the MBA and BBA courses, the candidates have to attempt General Aptitude questions vis-a-vis Data Analysis, Quantitative Studies, Socio-Economic Environment Studies, English, and Critical Reasoning.
APIIT NAT: How to apply?
The APIIT NAT authorities accept applications via both online and offline mode.
Offline Mode
As part of the offline application process, the candidates must download the application form from the official website, www.apiit.edu.in
Or, they can collect the application form from the APIIT office and pay the application form fee
Furnish all the requisite information as per the mandatory format
Provide all details about educational background and other personal details
Affix a latest photograph on the form
They have to, then, send their applications to the APIIT office address: APIIT SD India, Faridpur Road, GT Road, Panipat – 132103
They will receive an acknowledgment within a week
Online Mode
To apply via online mode, the candidates have to apply from the official website of APIIT, www.apiit.edu.in
Here, they have to click on the ‘Apply now’ tab on the home page
The next step is to register after entering their name, email address, and password
Thereafter, they will receive the confirmation link on the given email ID
After they sign into their accounts, they must download and fill the application form
Also, they are required to upload the required documents
After paying the application fee, they must submit their applications online on the website.
The eligible candidates will be informed by the authorities for the rest of the application, admission process
