This state-level examination is held for admitting pupils into the second-year BE and BTech programs that the Haryana-based participating colleges offer.
For getting admissions under lateral entry in the participating institutions across Haryana, the candidates should fill the Haryana LEET application form. Nevertheless, beforehand, they must check the eligibility criteria. And subject to meeting the given norms, they must proceed on.
The lateral entry admissions to the engineering colleges ensue on merit basis. The authorities release the Merit List and Rank of the candidate after the exam date. Then, the selected candidates have to register for the Haryana LEET counseling rounds.
During the counseling sessions, the applicants are required to provide their choice of course and colleges. The candidates who are allotted seats have to, then, visit the stipulated institute for completing the pending admission formalities.
HSTES LEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
He/she has to secure a Diploma in Engineering or Technology. Additionally, they have to secure the qualifying marks that are 45% aggregate marks.

The applicant must hold a BSc degree with a minimum 45% aggregate score. Also, among their subjects in Class XII, the inclusion of Mathematics is mandatory. More so, the candidates are required to pass Engineering Drawing or Engineering Graphics and Engineering Mechanics in the first year of the engineering course. Plus, they have to pass all subjects of the second year engineering program.
Note:
In the case of applicants who are applying via the reserved classes, they get 5% relaxation in marks.

Submit application form
The HSTES LEET authorities will release the registration, application dates. The aspiring candidates have to access the HSTES LEET online admission form via the official website and fill in the requisite info. Also, the applicants should submit their applications online and before the mentioned deadline. Post the given deadline, the authorities do not accept applications.
Download Admit Card
The admit cards of the eligible candidates are uploaded on the official website. After the applicants sign into their respective accounts using their application number and password, the admit cards are downloadable.
Appear for Exam
The candidates should appear on the exam date at the given venue. Plus, they should bring their admit cards along. Admit cards are important documents, for they help the examiners to ascertain the applicant’s identity.
Declaration of Results
Following the exam date, the results are uploaded on the official website. Here again, the candidates should sign into their accounts on the official portal to view their results.
The admissions into the second-year engineering programs are conducted on merit basis, owing to the applicant’s marks in the qualifying exams.
Counseling
The HSTES LEET counseling sessions are held in three phases. Where the first and second counseling phases are concerned, the candidates will be invited on the basis of their performance in the entrance test.
