Jharkhand TET 2024 ( JTET 2024 ): In India’s Jharkhand state, the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) bears the responsibility of holding the state-level Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET). The JTET is conducted for teacher recruitment of eligible aspirants at positions such as Primary Level and Upper Primary Level ones in various schools across Jharkhand. To apply for JTET, the candidates must apply via the official website, jac.nic.in.
If an aspirant is vying to teach Primary Level classes, then they have to apply for Jharkhand TET Paper-I; and to be eligible to teach Upper Primary Levels, they are required to apply for Jharkhand Paper-II. The aspiring candidates who want to teach classes from I to VIII have to apply for both Paper-I and Paper-II.
If they successfully clear the Jharkhand TET, the candidates receive the ‘Eligibility Certificate’, following which they can apply for teacher positions in schools in Jharkhand.
Across India, the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is conducted at both the Central and State Levels. The Indian states hold their own TET for teacher recruitment in schools. In the year 2011, the TET was introduced, having the objective of improving the teaching standards across the country.
