NIELIT C Level Result 2024: Detailed Guide on Checking Your Performance
The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) is responsible for overseeing the conduct of the ‘C’ level IT certification program that follows the ‘B’ level program. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) developed the NIELIT which functions under the Department of Information Technology, under the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, the Government of India.
The course has a minimum 2-year time period and helps the students to become familiar with the latest technological developments in the fields of Engineering and Computer Science. In turn, they can avail opportunities as R&D Scientists, Consultants, Faculty members, Systems Specialists, and Project Managers.
The NIELIT ‘C’ level program is considered to be the equivalent of the M.Tech course in the field of computer applications and information technology.

NIELIT ‘C’ Level Course: Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility norms of the program require the applicant to complete the NIELIT ‘B’ level program. Also, applicants who have secured a degree in MBA or MSc or MCA or B. Tech, BE, or Masters in Mathematics/Statistics are invited to apply too. Besides, the aspirants who are pursuing the program directly (and not via an institute) should gain 1.5-2 years of relevant experience in the IT field.
NIELIT ‘C’ Level Course: Course Details
The ‘C’ level IT certification course has 12 theory papers that include 10 compulsory ones and 2 electives. Additionally, the program entails 4 practicals and 2 projects or dissertations. Dissertation work is an integral part of the program. The students have to work under the guidance of appointed supervisors to complete the dissertation work.
To pass the program, the pupils have to qualify for the theory exams, practical examination, and Dissertation. Further, they have to score a minimum of 50% in each of the theory and practical exams of the course.
NIELIT ‘C’ Level Course: Employment Opportunities
After completing the NIELIT ‘C’ level course, the students become eligible to apply for a range of employment opportunities. These include software programmers, computer scientists, project managers, IT consultants, and network administrators, among others. NIELIT C Level Course: Grading Structure
The NIELIT examiners award marks in the form of grades to the pupils. They calculate the grades as per the following structure.
‘F’ Grade: below 50%
‘D’ Grade: in the range of 50-54%
‘C’ Grade: in the range of 55-64%
‘B’ Grade: in the range of 65-74%
‘A’ Grade: in the range of 75-84%

NIELIT C Level Course: Registration cum Application Process
In a year, the NIELIT authorities invite applications from aspirants for the ‘C’ level certification program for January and July intake. The applicants can apply between July and September for January intake. Moreover, for July intake, they should register through March and July.
To apply, the candidates must, first, visit the official website to register their names. For the same, they have to click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab, followed by the ‘New User? Registered Candidate’ option.
Next, they have to select the ‘B’ level program from the drop-down list that contains the full list of courses. The subsequent step is to fill in other details – including contact, personal and educational background.
They, then, receive their login details via their email address and mobile number. The next step is to sign in to their respective accounts via the official website. Subsequently, they should read the instructions that are listed on the ‘My Dashboard’ page. More so, they must update their profile.
Uploading scanned copies of certain documents is mandatory too. They must scan copies of left-thumb impressions, recent photographs, and specimen signatures and follow by uploading the same.
After updating their profiles, the candidate should click on the ‘Lock Profile’ tab. Thereafter, the system displays the ‘Acknowledgment Page’ and, here, they should take a print copy of the same. A copy has to be submitted to the Deputy Director of NIELIT of New Delhi as well.
The following step is to download the Online Examination Application Form and fill in the different fields. As part of the application process, the applicants should make payment of the Application Fee as well. They can pay via varied payment modes such as card payments (debit card or credit card) and online banking.
Furthermore, they have to select the checkbox on the Declaration Page. The last step requires the aspirants to review their applications to check if any changes are needed. Then, they have to select the ‘Final Submit’ option.
NIELIT ‘C’ Level Course: Exam Result
The students who have appeared for the NIELIT ‘C’ level program can view their exam results online by browsing the official website. On the website, they should select the ‘View Result’ tab, after which they have to click on the ‘C’ level tab that is displayed under the ‘Information Technology’ section.
The subsequent step is to select the ‘Submit’ option and then, input the required information (Applicant’s name, registration number, and date of birth) on the following page.
Next, they have to click on the ‘View’ option, following which the system exhibits the exam results. The candidates should view their exam results and, also, take a print copy for reference purposes.
