Odisha TET: Eligibility Criteria
If applying via the general category for Odisha TET, then the candidates must satisfy the following criteria. The reserved classes are given relaxation as per the National Council for Teacher Education guidelines.
For Paper-I
The aspirant is required to pass the 12th standard exams while scoring minimum 50% aggregate marks. Also, they have to pass the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or the 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). If they are pursuing the final years of the above-mentioned courses, then they can apply too.
Or
He/she should secure a graduation degree and must have passed or be appearing for the final year of the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or the 2-year Diploma in Special Education.
For Paper-II
He/she has to have a BSc/BCom/BA degree with at least 50% aggregate marks. More so, they have to complete the 1-year Diploma in Education or the Diploma in Education (Special Education) courses. They can apply even if they are appearing for the final year of the aforesaid programs.

The applicant must pass 12th standard exams with at least 50% aggregate marks. Also, they should pass the 4-year BAEd or BScEd courses. Even if they are appearing for the 4th year of the above-listed courses, they are considered eligible to apply.
Odisha TET: Application Process
The Odisha TET application process is conducted online and explained below.
- Go to the official website and read the instructions after clicking on the ‘Notifications’ tab
- Follow by registering on the site and provide details (such as mobile number and email address)
- Log in to the account after receiving login details via email address
- Download the Online Application Form and fill in the required fields
- Upload the requisite documents – including a scanned copy of specimen signature and passport-sized photo
- Proceed to pay the Application Fee
- Review application and, thereafter, click on the ‘Submit’ tab
- Take a printout of ‘Confirmation Page’ that the system displays after application submission
Odisha TET: Admit Card
Admit Cards are made available to the eligible candidates via the official website after the authorities process all applications. The dates on which the aspirants can download their respective Admit Cards is conveyed to them. Then, they can download their Admit Cards by browsing the official website and clicking on the ‘Download Admit Card’ option. Subsequently, the system shows their Admit Cards and they have to take a printout to carry to the exam hall. This is important for the examiners to confirm the candidate’s identity.
Besides, the candidates must check the details on the Admit Cards and if they notice any discrepancies, the same should be informed to the authorities who will make the necessary corrections.
Odisha TET: Exam Pattern
The Odisha TET exam pattern is as follows:
- The exam is conducted via offline mode
- The exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- Each question carries 1 mark.
- The question paper contains 150 multiple-choice questions, having four options each.
- For selecting the right option, the candidate scores 1 mark.
- For choosing the incorrect option, no negative marks are deducted.

The candidates can check their Odisha TET Exam Result via the official website. They must click on the ‘Download Exam Result’ upon visiting the website. Then, the system prompts for details such as Registration Number and Date of Birth. Upon entering the required details, the exam results are displayed.
