Tripura Polytechnic 2024 Exam: Admission, Dates, Merit List, Eligibility

In India’s Northeastern state of Tripura, in any given year, the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) conducts the Tripura Polytechnic state-level Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE). During June, the candidates can collect the Application Form and fill in their details therein. Then, they have to submit the filled form, along with other necessary documents. The aspirants must study the eligibility norms of the different courses. Thereafter, if eligible, they must apply to the programs. Also, before the given deadline, they must submit their applications.

The duration of the programs vary from 3-4 years; and after successfully completing the courses, the pupils are conferred with Diplomas.

TJEE Application Form

The aspirants can apply for TBJEE in both modes: offline and online. For online applications, they have to visit the official website to download the form. For applying offline, the forms are to be collected from the notified centers.

The application form has to be duly filled with all the required particulars. In addition to the filled application forms, the candidates are to submit the required documents, as well. Additionally, the application fee has to be paid via online or offline modes.

In the case of online applications, the documents are to be uploaded, along with scanned images of photos and signature. In the case of offline applications, the applicants get an Acknowledgement Receipt upon submitting their applications.

Bear in mind to only furnish correct information in the applications to avoid disqualification. Also, be sure to take a printout of the application form for having a record.

 

TJEE Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: The TBJEE accepts applications of only Indian Nationals.

Educational Qualification: To apply for the Diploma courses, the aspirants should clear their 10th or 12th standard examinations, or equivalent, from recognized Boards.

Additionally, their subjects in the qualifying exam must include English, Science, and Mathematics.

Lateral Entry: For getting lateral entry to the courses, the aspirants are to have a Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a recognized Board or University.

TJEE Admit Card

Post the deadline of submission of applications, the authorities upload the admit cards of the eligible candidates on the official website. Upon browsing the site, the candidates have to log in to their accounts for downloading their respective admit cards. At the exam hall, the authorities will verify the admit cards, so the candidates must carry them along.

TJEE Exam Result

To view their exam results of the TJEE, the applicants have to visit the official website. Then, after logging into their accounts, they can download their exam results. They must take a printout as they are needed at a later stage.

TJEE Merit List

After the exam results are released, the authorities upload the Merit List. Based on the candidates’ scores, they get ranks. The Merit List has significance because the authorities grant admissions in order of ranks to the applicants.

TJEE Counseling

The shortlisted candidates have to appear for counseling on the basis of their ranks in the Merit List. During these sessions, they should bring along their original documents for the examining authorities to verify. Additionally, they have to fill in their choices of colleges and courses during the counseling rounds.

Subsequently, the allotment of seats ensues, following which the applicant must visit the College where they have secured admission. Thereafter, after completing the rest of the admission formalities, the admission process is complete.
