Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) released the admit card for the Bihar ITICAT Entrance Exams 2024 on its official web link, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

The applicants seeking admission in the several Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in the Indian state of Bihar are required to clear the entrance exam, ITICAT (Industrial Training Institute Competitive Admission Test), conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB).

Every year, the Board holds exams for admitting students in the various ITI courses. The programs are held at the Private / Public institutes that are based in the state.

The ITI courses were introduced to provide technical education to students after they have cleared their school examinations. These programs are designed for the students to gain some technical expertise rather than continuing with the conventional teaching methods.

There are a series of ITI programs that the applicants can enrol in. However, there are different eligibility criteria for the various courses; and the students are advised to apply only as per the eligibility forms. Otherwise, their admission would be cancelled.

The courses require the aspirants to be a of minimum 14 years old: an upper age limit is not specified. Also, the candidates have to have passed their 10th standard to be considered eligible. Nonetheless, the eligibility norms are relaxed for some groups of people.

Moreover, the candidates must be citizens of India. Also, they must be permanent residents of Bihar to be considered for admission in the Bihar ITIs. Moreover, they must be physically fit. For online applications, the aspirants have to click on the “Apply for ITICAT 2023” link. Then, they have to register; following successful registration, they will be provided with a registration ID and password on the given mail address.

Thereafter, the applicants have to log in using their registration ID and password and fill in the required details in the application forms. Moreover, the application fee has to be paid via the mentioned modes of payment. After completing the application procedure, they must click on the ‘Submit’ button after which they will receive a confirmation message, about the successful receipt of their application.

After the application process, the ITI authorities will furnish the ITI admit cards to the applicants. The admit cards have to be downloaded via the official site after entering details such as their date of birth and registration number. The aspirants are required to carry the admit cards when going for the exam; and have to produce them when requested by the authorities.
Following the exam and as per the schedule, the exam results are displayed on the official website for the applicants to refer to. To access the results, they need to enter details such as registration number and date of birth. Based on the marks scored the students can get admission to the allotted colleges.

Additionally, the successful students will be invited to attend counselling sessions in front of a committee. Here, their documents are verified and also, and they can also fill in their choice of colleges. After verifying the candidate’s overall profile and scores in the qualifying exam, the admissions are granted by the authorities.
