Mizoram ITI Admit Card 2024: Steps to Download

The Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) have their centers throughout India. The ITI hubs provide vocational training to the candidates who become proficient in working in the varied trades. The Mizoram-based ITIs impart technical training in trades such as fitter, electrician, civil draughtsman, plumber, carpenter, mason, wireman, and welder – amongst others.

In Mizoram, the Central Government frames the rules and regulations for the vocational training that is conducted in the ITIs; the state government oversees the daily activities of the centres.

However, the eligibility norms of the different ITI courses vary. For this reason, the candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria and apply accordingly to avoid disqualification. The applicants have to clear their 10th or 12th standard examination (as per their choice of course) to be eligible.

To apply to the ITI programs that are held in Mizoram, the applicants have to register on the official website, itiaizawl.mizoram.gov.in. Then, they have to fill out the online application form and pay the application fee. After completing the application procedure, they must take a printout of the application form and save it for reference purposes.

After the concerned ITI authorities have received the applications and post the given deadline, a merit list is prepared that contains the names of the candidates. For preparing the merit list, the ITI board will screen the candidates’ profiles based on their scores in the qualifying exams i.e. 10th or 12th standard exams.

Subsequently, the successful candidates are invited to attend the counselling sessions. The details about the date and time of the counselling rounds are displayed on the Website.

Accordingly, the aspirants are required to attend the counselling sessions and also, carry along their original documents for the authorities to verify the same. Then, the authorities will release the final merit list that contains the names of the candidates; and the respective colleges where the applicants have been admitted. Also, allotment letters are given to the candidates who have to submit the papers at the respective colleges. After depositing the tuition fees, the aspirants can attend the courses as per the given schedule.
