by On 4th January 2020, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode, declared the CAT 2019 results. The exam was conducted in computer-based mode via 2 sessions by the Indian Institutes of Management on November 24, 2019.
More than 2 lakh candidates appeared for the examination and they can check their Score Card on the official website, https://iimcat.ac.in/per/g01/pub/756/ASM/WebPortal/1/index.html?756@@1@@1.

To calculate the candidates’ scores, their individual scores were weighed and then converted into percentiles.
The CAT Score Cards contain the applicants’ sectional and overall scores – both including the scaled and percentile ones. As per normal practice, the scores of the candidates are normalized.
Upon release of the CAT 2019 scores, the candidates must start to prepare for the subsequent selection rounds. However, for getting admissions in the premier B-schools, the applicants should score 90 percent.
Also, CAT scores serve as only the first step for admission to management courses. Depending on the candidates’ scores, they will be selected for the following screening rounds by IIMs and listed non-IIMs that consider CAT scores.
Among the different selection rounds, the candidates are invited for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT). Also, some institutes hold Group Discussions (GD) for shortlisting candidates.
The candidates can check their CAT 2019 results online via the CAT website. Note that CAT 2019 scores will continue to be valid until December 30, 2020.

- The first step is to visit the official website of CAT 2019
- Now, click on the Login tab
- The system prompts for your username and password, follow by entering the requisite details
- Upon signing in, click on the ‘Download CAT 2019 Score Card’ link
- Proceed by downloading the Score Card
