by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) has issued official notification for Madhya Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (MP TET) 2020 on 6 January 2020. The Board is seeking to recruit Primary Teachers. And the aspiring candidates can apply via the official website, peb.mp.gov.in. The last date for receiving applications is 20th January 2020. And the final date for making corrections in the application form is 25th January 2020. Also, the date for the MP TET Primary Teacher Exam is 25 April 2020.
Aspiring candidates who are looking for teacher jobs in Madhya Pradesh are invited to apply for the exam. The MP TET certificate qualifies the candidates for teacher positions for 7 years.
MP TET 2020: Exam Pattern
The MP TET Exam entails two papers: Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-I is for candidates who are applying for Class 1 to 5 teacher posts. And Paper-II is for applicants who want to apply for Class 6 to 8 teacher positions. Both Paper-I and Paper-II will be held on the same day.
MP TET 2020: How to Apply?
Only online registrations will be accepted. The applicants should visit the official website to complete the registration process. On the site, they have to select the ‘MP TET Registration Link’ and follow by providing the mandatory details. More so, the candidates are required to make payment of application fee. Next, they should Submit & Save their applications.
MP TET Eligibility Criteria 2020
Only eligible candidates can appear for the MP TET 2020. Thus, the candidates must read the eligibility norms and apply only if they fulfil the eligibility norms.
Educational Qualification
To qualify for MP TET 2020, the candidates have to secure at least 50% marks in the Higher Secondary exams and complete a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Or, they should score minimum 50% marks in Higher Secondary along with securing the 4-year B.EL.ED degree.
Or, they must get minimum 50% marks in Higher Secondary exams and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education).
Or, they have to secure a graduation degree and complete the 2-year diploma course in Elementary Education.
Age Criteria
Candidates who are between the age groups of 18-35 years are considered eligible to apply.
MP TET 2020: Application Fee
For General category candidates, the application fee is Rs 600 for Paper-I or Paper-II and Rs 1200 for both papers. If applying via reserved categories, they have to pay Rs 300 for Paper-I or Paper-II and Rs 600 for both papers.
