RCF Railway Recruitment 2020: 400 vacancies to the filled for Apprentice Posts

The Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala, has issued an official notification for inviting online applications for 400 Trade Apprentice positions. The RCF authorities have started accepting online registrations from 8th January 2020 onwards and will continue until 06 February 2020.

The aspiring candidates can apply via the official website, https://rcf.indianrailways.gov.in/.

The 400 vacancies are inclusive of Painter (G) (20 posts); Welder (G&E) (100 posts); Fitter (100 posts); Carpenter (40 posts); Machinist (40 posts); Carpenter (40 Posts); Electrician (56 posts); Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) (10 Posts); AC & Fridge Mechanic (20 posts); and Electronic Mechanic (14 Posts).

The eligible candidates are those who meet the given eligibility norms, as studied below.

Educational Qualification

The applicant is required to pass Class X examinations with minimum 50% marks. Also, they should secure the National Trade Certificate in a recognized trade.

Age Limit

The candidates who are between the ages of 15-24 years are invited to apply.

RCF Railway Recruitment 2020: Selection Process

As part of the screening process of the Apprentice positions, the examiners will check the applications of all the candidates. Then, they will prepare a Merit List of the eligible candidates. The candidates’ scores in Matriculation exams and ITI courses are considered for selecting candidates.

Accordingly, the selected applicants will be called for the different selection rounds.
