by The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) 2020 on 5th January 2022. The applicants who submitted their applications for the “Assistant Commandant” positions can access their results via the official website of the UPSC, upsc.gov.in. The UPSC has selected 187 applicants for the 210 vacant posts.
The UPSC CAPF 2020 result contains the names of candidates who qualified for the exam from different categories: General category (59), EWS category (20), Scheduled Caste category (35), and Scheduled Tribes category (18).
The UPSC CAPF 2020 was held on 20th December 2020. Also, the interviews for the Personality Test rounds were conducted from 6th to 24th December 2021. The selected candidates will be appointed for the “Assistant Commandant” positions (Group A) and become part of the Central Armed Police Forces. These include the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
