Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology is the first agricultural university of India. This University was established on 17 November 1960 as the “Uttar Pradesh Agricultural University”. Later, in 1972 the name of this University was changed to “Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology” in memory of the first Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant. This University is situated in Pantnagar in the Indian State of Uttarakhand and is regarded as the forerunner of the Green Revolution of India.

G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology is recognized by the University Grants Commission, Indian Council of Agricultural Research and All India Council for Technical Education. This University provides the light of education to more than 3000 students who are studying different disciplines of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses. This University is a non-affiliating University where the academic activities are controlled by its faculties which consist of Agriculture, Veterinary & Animal Science, Technology, Basic Science & Humanities, Home Science, Fisheries, Agribusiness Management and International Agriculture. This University, being an agricultural university also focuses on research and extension activities with special mention of research on organic farming and biological pest control. Moreover, the extension activities include educating the rural folks about better and innovative farming through Participatory technology development programs, radio and television broadcasts, community radio-based narrowcasting, print media, Farmer’s fairs and other innovative communication technologies.

The Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) makes available the provisional examination results of its academic courses on its official web portal, https://www.gbpuat.ac.in/. Students who appear for the GBPUAT exams can access their respective exam results on the official website once the results are declared.

After the GBPUAT exam authorities declare the exam results, visit the home page of the official portal as your first step. Now, navigate to the relevant GBPUAT exam result link scrolling therein and tap on the same. When done, the GBPUAT login page comes up on the screen and you should enter your login details – “Registration Number” and “Password” – in the given fields. Go on and tap the “Submit” tab, thereafter. The system will then exhibit the corresponding GBPUAT exam result on the screen. Taking a print copy of the GBPUAT exam result is mandatory. Students have to also collect the original GBPAUT exam mark sheet from the respective institute on the prescribed dates.
