Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya is an Agricultural University which is also an autonomous, non-profit, research and educational institute which is working for the upliftment of farmers residing in Chattisgarh. This Public University was established on 20th January 1987 in Raipur. The main aim behind the establishment of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University is to provide a fresh aspect of the major agricultural development in Chattisgarh known as the “Rice Bowl”. The activities of this University are education, research and education which are imparted through agriculture, veterinary, dairy and agricultural engineering faculties and Directorates of instruction. This University receives financial aid from ICAR, State Government and international agencies.

This University provides world-class facilities to the students through its great infrastructure. The University library – “Nehru Library” has a total collection of 60,000 books along with thesis and periodicals. Each of its constituent colleges and research stations too has its own separate library. Moreover, Indira Gandhi Agricultural University also encourages providing scholarships to bright students, Rs 1500 to 1800 is given to approximately 5 to 7% of students. Partial and full scholarships are awarded to some students. Indira Gandhi Agricultural University teaches various programmes like Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, etc.

Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV), or Indira Gandhi Agricultural University (IGAU), based in Raipur city of the Indian state of Chhattisgarh, uploads the exam results of its academic programs on its official portal, https://igkv.ac.in/web/igkv.aspx. Also, the IGKV issues notifications about the exam declaration dates to keep the students informed. Candidates who appear for the semester or annual exams that are held by the IGKV should browse its official website to view their results.

Once the IGKV releases the examination results, students must search the home page of its official portal for the “Academics” tab. The next step is to select “Result” from the drop-down menu of this tab. Subsequently, the system displays the “Examination Results” page on the screen.
