Jamia Millia Islamia is a public central university that came into existence in 1920 through the tireless efforts of its founders who want the transformation of common masses, in general and Muslims through the vehicle of education. It became a central university by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1988. The university has come a long way since its inception and keep pace with the changing needs and expectations of the society.

Jamia Millia Islamia University imparts education from nursery to Senior Secondary level levels. It runs regular, part time and distance learning programs in Ph.D, Master degrees, Postgraduate, undergraduate and various diploma and certificate courses. All the aspiring candidates who want to pursue B.Tech and B Arch courses have to appear in JEE Main examination and can submit online admission form which is available on the official site of university which is jmi.ac.in.

The university has also launched the Centre for distance & Open Learning with the assistance of Distance Education council in September 2002 to provide opportunities to those who have to discontinue their regular studies due to several reasons. The centre also runs the Urdu Proficiency course formerly known as Urdu Correspondence course with a purpose to teach Urdu through the distance mode.

The Jamia Millia Islamia (JML), based in New Delhi in India, declares the exam results of its different courses on its official web portal, https://www.jmi.ac.in/. Students who appear for the exams that the JML conducts should visit its official website to check their results. Additionally, they are required to browse the JML official web link regularly to stay updated on the exam result release dates.

On the JML authorities releasing the exam results, you must go to its official portal. Continue by locating the “Examinations” tab on the website home page. On the following page, you have to click on the “Examinations Results (Regular Courses)” or “Examinations Results (Distance Mode)” tab, whichever applies. Subsequently, the system directs you to the “Results’ page, where you must tap the relevant result link. You can then view your result on the screen, after which you must take a print copy of it.

The JML offers a host of PG, UG, PhD, Postgraduate Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Certificate courses in various disciplines.
