In the year 2014, the Jaypee University (JU) was constituted and is located at Anoopshahr in Bulandshahr in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The JU is a private, interdisciplinary university that was set up with the vision of developing globally-competitive professionals. The JU’s official website is http://jaypeeu.ac.in/.

The JU is part of the Jaypee Group of Companies that started operations over 5 decades ago; and since then, grown into a diversified business conglomerate, having entered into several fields. Also, the Group has made a foray in the education sector; and over the years, set up many educational institutions. Moreover, the JU is another initiative of the Group to provide quality education to society members.

The JU’s sponsoring body is the Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan (JSS), which is a not-for-profit society. The Society undertakes a series of socio-economic projects to bring about a positive change and fuel the country’s growth.

At JU, a host of courses at Bachelor levels are offered. The University’s various faculties conduct programs in the disciplines of Management, Science, Commerce, Engineering & Technology, and Arts.

The JU’s campus has a picturesque setting – with the backdrop of the holy river, the Ganges. Also, over 80 acres of land that is surrounded by lush greenery, the center boasts of having an ideal environment for knowledge dissemination. The students are provided with an array of infrastructural facilities too; these include hostels, sports grounds, library – among others.

The JU has a Training & Placement Cell for facilitating placements as well. Also, the JU Youth Club organizes a range of activities, regularly, as part of the pupils’ overall development.
