The Maharishi Dayanand University is located in Rohtak, Haryana. In the year 1976, the University was instituted and at first, was called Rohtak University. In 1977, the University was rechristened as Maharshi Dayanand University after the renowned saint Dayananda Saraswati. The University’s campus is shared with IIM Rohtak.
In the purview of the University’s strive for excellence, the NAAC has awarded the ‘A’ Grade to the University.
Aspiring students are offered a variety of courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate levels by the University. The University courses are conducted on campus or through distance mode. Also, being a collegiate University, the MDU caters to 126 educational centres and around 170,000 pupils.
Over the years, the University has expanded from teaching only life sciences to other disciplines as well. Presently, the University campus has 77 academic programs, 27 postgraduate departments, and 13 faculties. Also, there are 66 boards that devise the varied University courses.
At the University, the aspirants can enrol for undergraduate engineering programs for attaining the Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degrees. Also, they can apply for postgraduate courses at the master’s and doctorate levels. These include Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Science (MSc), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and doctorates (Ph.D.). In research degrees, the MSc and PhD are included; the remainder of the courses are taught degrees.

The Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), located in Rohtak in the Haryana state of India, makes available the exam results of its different academic programs on its official portal, https://mdu.ac.in/. Moreover, the MDU authorities release notifications to update the students about the exam release dates beforehand. Any candidate who appears for the semester / annual exams that the MDU hosts should visit the official website to download his/her result.
After the MDU authorities declare the results, you must search the home page of the official portal for the “Examinations” tab. Follow by tapping the “Result” link from the drop-down menu. You will then be directed to the “Result” page, where you have to enter your Registration Number. Thereafter, the examination results are viewable on the screen. Remember to keep a print copy of your exam result for reference purposes.
The MDU has provisions for a host of courses. Among this list are Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Arts (MA), and Bachelor of Arts (BA) – to name a few.
