The Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) that is situated at Ri-Bhoi and Tura in India’s state of Meghalaya was formed in the year 2011. MGU has been named after the ‘Father of the Nation’, Mahatma Gandhi, and aims to follow his vision to promote the nation’s growth, through education. MGU was founded to impart quality education to the backward classes of society. Also, the University provides distance education in India and focuses on the all-round development of the students by introducing innovative programs. The various faculties of MGU are the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Management & Commerce, the Faculty of Applied Knowledge, the Faculty of Law & Education, and the Faculty of Sciences & Technology. These departments conduct courses in the different streams of Law, Management, Information Technology, Agriculture, Arts, Engineering,  Arts, Science, Medicine, Health Sciences, among others.

The University has a Faculty of Skill Studies as well. This department imparts formal skills training to the aspirants. In India, only a small fraction of people have undergone skill-based training due to which industries have a low percentage of skilled manforce and results in poor productivity levels. The Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Meghalaya, makes available the examination results of its various courses on its official website, https://www.mgu.edu.in/. Students appearing for the MGU exams can view their exam results on the MGU official portal.

After the MGU examiners release the exam results, students are required to visit the official web portal. Next, they have to browse the “Features” section and tap on the “Results” tab. After this, the system is directed to a new page, where you have to input your respective “Enrollment Number” as mentioned on your Admit Card. Then, the system will display your exam result on the screen and you are advised to keep a print copy for your records. Candidates can collect their original marksheets from their respective colleges after some days.

Students also have the option of applying for revaluation of their MGU exam papers. To do so, they must submit their applications before the given deadline.
