Patna University is the first university of Bihar which was established in 1917 during the British Raj. It is the seventh oldest university of the country with rich academic tradition. It is among the best universities of the eastern region of the country imparting the highest level of education. At present it has 31 postgraduate departments in the faculties of Science, Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Education, Commerce and constituent 10 colleges apart from Patna Medical College and Patna Dental College. There are 4 institutes maintained by it as well named Institute of Psychological Research & Services, the Institute of Public Administration, the Institute of Music, and the Institute of Library and Information Science. College of Arts & Crafts is fully devoted to Fine Arts and is one of the best in teaching painting and sculptures etc.
The university now offers distance education as well through Directorate of Distance Education (DDE), catering to the needs of students who are deprived of getting the formal education. Patna University (PU), traceable to Patna in the Bihar state of India, declares the examination results of its various affiliated courses on its official portal, https://pup.ac.in. Any candidate who is awaiting the semester or annual exam results of the PU courses must visit its official website periodically to check for any notifications regarding the exam result release dates.
Also, once the PU releases the exam results, you must browse the home page of its official web portal to view their results. Here, you have to look for the “Examination” tab and click on the “Result Notification” tab from the drop-down menu. The system, then, is directed to the “Results Notification” page, where you should tap the relevant result link. After this, the system shows the login page for you to enter your login credentials. Thereafter, you will be able to view your PU result on the screen.
