Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University was established on 1st May 1983. Geographically it is covering the western Vidarbha belt which includes Amravati, Akola, Yavatmal, Buldhana and Washim in the state of Maharashtra. In a very short span of just two decades it has been established as one of the premier university of the region and had contributed in economic, social and cultural upliftment of the society by offering quality education.
The university is recognized under Section 12(B) of UGC Act and is also an associated member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, London (U.K). It offers education in 10 faculties which include Science, Arts, Commerce, Medicine, Ayurveda, Social Science, Law, Home Science, Engineering & Technology and Education. It also offers facilities for Post-graduate and advanced education in Computer, Biotechnology, Business Management, Law and degree courses in Chemical- Technology. The university campus is spread over an area of 225 hectares and is a home to 20 post graduate departments offering 25 courses in various disciplines.
It has also received NAAC Accreditation and at present 127 colleges are affiliated with Amravati University that offer quality education to 90,000 students for undergraduate and post graduate programs in different disciplines. The SantGadge Baba Amravati University (SGBAU), traced to Amravati in Vidarbha in Maharashtra state in India, makes available the exam results of its affiliated courses on its official portal, https://www.sgbau.ac.in/Default.aspx. Candidates who appear for the SGBAU exams can check their respective examination results from its official website.
After the SGBAU examiners declare the exam results, you must locate the “Examination” tab and select the “Exam Results” link from the drop-down menu. That done, the system will exhibit the SGBAU login page on the screen. You have to continue by entering details such as “Name of Exam” and “Roll Number”. Once you login to your SGBAU account, you can view your exam result on the screen. Note, taking a print copy of your SGBAU exam results for your records is mandatory. You should even check your SGBAU exam result for any errors. And if you find any errors, contact the concerned SGBAU authorities for any corrections / clarifications.
