The Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS) was set up in the year 1994 at Kalady in Kerala. The SSUS is a leading Sanskrit University in research, education, and innovation. Courses

The University conducts a range of courses at different levels. These include undergraduate, diploma, postgraduate, MPhil, PhD, Certificate and Postgraduate diploma ones. The programs are conducted via the 24 academic departments of the University.

SSUS conducts UG courses in varied disciplines such as Music, Fine Arts, Sanskrit, among others. Also, under PG programs, the University has programs in Physical Education, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Fine Arts, Urdu, Hindi, among others.

Eligibility Norms

Aspirants who wish to apply for UG courses from SSUS must have cleared Class XII exam from a recognized educational board.

Where PG courses are concerned, the applicants should have a valid Graduation degree course. For pursuing PhD programs, the candidate needs to secure a Post Graduate degree of a relevant discipline.

The SSUS campus offers a range of amenities for developing the all-round personality of the pupils. Separate hostels for boys and girls can be availed. Besides, the College campus is ICT-enabled due to which the students can access various educational resources.
