The Swami Vivekananda Subharti University (SVSU) is privately-owned and traced to Meerut city in India’s Uttar Pradesh state. Established in the year 2008, the SVSU is accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The University’s sponsoring body is the Mahayana Theravada Vajrayana Buddhist Religious and Charitable Trust that works towards the empowerment of society members through providing education and other basic resources.
